Is that 301k or 1.2k, really hard to tell almost the worst display I've seen

Default V70 p2 tdi

Mines done 267569 miles to date. Still going strong in daily use only had vacuum replaced and services. Oil and filters changed at 8000miles intervals. Before this I had a 740 estate 2.3 1988 that died at 290000 odd miles when the auto box packed up.

MY2009 XC90 D5 diesel with 119000 Kms (74000 miles). I guess it's not run in yet. I should drive more carefully.

We've got just over 273,000 miles on our 2006 V70 D5 but the engine is not happy, using lube oil and fuel at an increasing rate. With hindsight only changing the oil at the 18,000 'manufacturers recommended' intervals has had something to do with this. Perhaps every 10,000 would have had it in a better state than it is now at this mileage. Until recently I was convinced it could get way past the 300k mark but now I'm not so sure.
It's a great engine in a great car in my opinion, though.

Was keen to get my Rover 75 diesel over the 300k mark, but the clutch went at 298k ! The engine was sweet

2005- V70 D5-185 bhp has done 276k,had 271k when i bought it,a few of my mates said -oh too much wouldn't touch it,but after reading the forums and giving it a test drive,i was that impressed at how it pulled i thought-can't be that much wrong with that, have changed timing belt/pulleys all engine mounts, and looks like i will have to change the hydraulic valve followers in the future, as i am getting the tug boat noise when warmed up,but i am that happy with the car i am classing these niggles as trivial and worth doing.
