Default 2000 Volvo S80 FIRST TIME OWNER! Help!

2000 Volvo S80-
bought fairly cheap and willing to put the work in it to make it nice.

Where do I start?
1- drinks coolant faster than it should, but never appears to overheat.
2- electrical system is wacky... main issue is sunroof does not work and exterior locks to drivers side door does not work.
3- windows are off track.

Thanks.

For (1), it'd be worth examining the coolant reservoir very carefully indeed for any signs of leakage as they are supposedly prone to splitting - also check or replace the cap.

For (3) - what do you mean by off track - physically don't slide up and down, or are just erratic in their motion and don't stop in the right place?

Apart from the obvious places to check some of these cars develop leaks in the oil cooler at the back of the sump. Sometimes this is accompanied by brown scum ( oil) in the coolant header tank.
