Default Amazon suspension

Hi guys, have question to you regarding Volvo suspension settings, I have looked in to lot of web info, forum and FB and put all opinions together 😊
Looking for every day car little lowered soft ride (factory flush feel) better handling!!

Sock:
Best way is GAS with regulation or if on budget than KYB (Bilsteins all say they are to hard and for the rear need to be done revalved)

Springs:
Lowered 30mm progressive so the ride is softer

Sway bar:
1’’ Front (IPD) ASB, no in the rear so the rear is more playful. (thinning in the start to drive with out it, to see how I like and only than to put it on)

Adjustable panhard rod bar in rear (do I need it? And what is the benefit of it?)

Bushes:
All say that poly bushes make ride harsh but how I understood there is possible to order softer poly bushes so than they are in feel similar as rubber only hold better (classicswde.co.uk offer them). In my situation I have all rubber bushes as new, so don’t see now a point to change them all, but few people have sad that its oki to use rubber bushed but important to put poly in this place- top wishbones (any comment?)

And one of the most interesting is I found info that one of the best handling improvements was additional horseshoe spacer between the upper front wishbone and the frame to increase negative camber. Some say that need to be even number of plates under all bolts, otherwise you create unwanted forces in suspension. PLUS if you want to change the caster you should add shimms between the subframe and frame (shims can get from Rob Henchoz)

and need to weld few places in subframe where the blots are, thats also good for street car or only if iam going into racking?

So maybe you can add some comments if all sounds good or better to change some thing and what about welding and shims?

Springs:
Lowered 30mm progressive so the ride is softer Ride is not softer (it is already too soft and a bit stiffer than original gives a more comfortable ride)

Sway bar:
1’’ Front (IPD) ASB, no in the rear so the rear is more playful. (thinning in the start to drive with out it, to see how I like and only than to put it on) Anti roll bars is the very last step. I would advise doing both front and rear

Adjustable panhard rod bar in rear (do I need it? And what is the benefit of it?) Not needed

Bushes:

Just fit poly in the top wishbones

No point adding any shims just hoping for the best. You need the steering angles all setting correctly. I would go with factory original setting first with camber on the max negative limit.

and need to weld few places in subframe where the blots are, thats also good for street car or only if iam going into racking? I would recommend strengtheing the crossmember regardless of use

So maybe you can add some comments if all sounds good or better to change some thing and what about welding and shims?

Monroe and Delphi made the shocks for Volvo. Also another brand but the name is not coming to me right now.

KYB are just a common cheap damper made in China/Taiwan they are resonably well made but are on the firmer side of things

yes KYB is cheapest option from upgraded shocks, that i understood.
I just dont know if i need that gas all regulation, and after our winters and salty time i can bet after 1 winter those knobs will not turn thats why i got more for just better shocks with out regulation.

i so that there are GAS with out regulation also available or thats not the same...

and for 30mm lower i use standard shock size, no point to take smaller shock? Because than i still have options to go for standard spring size in winter if i decide..

For 30mm lowering you need normal length shocks.

The adjusters work well. A little grease on them stops then for seizing. Gaz also offer a rebuild for a very low price should there be a problem with them after the warranty ends
