Default Headlining

Usual problem with the headlining starting to come away - I've done a quick repair a little while back right at the back (just above the boot area) so it was possible to use a spray glue on it without removing anything.

I've now got quite a few areas further forward in the car starting to come away and I think it's time it all came out and was fully re-glued.

I'm looking at something like this glue - https://www.as-trim.co.uk/index.php?...aivsj0t872r3k3 - unless anyone can recommend something better?

I can work out how to remove the whole headlining from the back of the car, but further forward it's not obvious how the interior lights, alarm sensors and side handles come away. Any tips?!

Just replaced my headlining the other week. There are two connectors at the front, one on each A-Pillar. On the driver's side it is a white connector and its a bit tricky to undo. I removed the tweeter speaker grill and the tweeter and and use a long screwdriver to psuh the clip while pulling gently the wiring.

On the passenger's side, it is a blue connector that plugs in all the way to the passengers footwell, on the Ultrasonic Sensor.

Photos to follow shortly

Here you go. Here is the white connector on the driver's side, as you can see it through the tweeter hole

And here is the one on the passenger's side. You will have to remove the footwell cover to see the USS module where the blue connector plugs into

Nice one, thanks. I love it how you have photos to hand of almost anything anyone's wanting to do!

So I presume some/all of the things in the headlining (alarm sensors etc.) come out with it, rather than being unplugged first?

The Haynes manual helpfully suggests getting an expert to do it. Can't be that hard surely?!
