Default Volvo 240 Fuel tank needed

Got a significant fuel leak from my gas tank, not dropped it yet to find out where it's coming from, but that this this weekends job.

So I am looking for a new or good used tank. Anyone have anything in the Wisbech/King's Lynn area? Willing to travel a reasonable distance to collect.

Car is a 1990 240GLT (Injection) model if it makes any difference!?

Thanks,
David

Does it leak when filling up? Mine used to leak when fueling up, but when I removed the tank I couldn't find a leak and concluded it must be the 'o' ring seal between filler and tank.

Try these http://www.braydonmotors.co.uk/
I recently bought an Estate tank from them in great condition for £30 and a complete steering UJ joint for £15 plus £10postage, it all arrived next day too.
Plus it saves you crawling around struggling with rusty bolts.

Hi! Might not be the tank. The 'in tank' fuel pump pipes have a habit of corroding / perforating. There is a small inspection hatch which you can use in the boot area to check. Worth checking before you commit to a new tank.

Best of luck

Thanks guys. After delving into the underside of the car this weekend it looks like I'll be breaking it. Far too much rust and I have neither the time nor inclination to fix it all this time around.
