245 for Turbo conversion
Hi folks!
As title really, I want a 240/245 estate for a turbo conversion. I already have a 940 donor and was planning on turbo'ing the saloon I recently sold, but I need an estate for practical reasons. Doesn't need to be a minter, but the less rust the better! Keeping an eye out on the usual sites like ebay, car and classic and forum classifieds Thanks in advance |

Same boat as me....! Good luck. I'm starting to think maybe a T5 estate would be a better route... Nowt about, that want to swap.

I know mate! I have a decent 940 that is my donor so Im thinking of keeping the 940 and buying an older volvo, like an amazon or a 144 etc. Its weird not having a project draining me of funds!! 😂

It sucks doesn't it; I have a 244 saloon that's in above average condition, but for practicality the 245 rules over it. Should've bought one before prices go up...

I just sold a really good saloon, but it was too good and original to turbo it! A 242 would be my car in a perfect world! 😄

Indeed I saw - was far too good to turbo. I think my best bet is to just buy a T5R, solve all problems, but eh.... 245. I've already made plans for a turbo Redblock, currently have the intake manifold being fabbed up so maybe I've gone past the point of no return..! Good luck though.
