Default Well after a disasterous day, its here, the 740 Turbo!

Hi

Well the day started well, we set off in my 740 estate to get the car from coleford. We found the place without too much of a problem. As we turned into their steet, there it was, my new car - the 740 Turbo

Infact i was so smitten with looking at it, i hit the guys mrs car up the arse Took a big chunk of bumper out of her S plate S40 its colour coded too so im guessing thats gonna be a few hundred quid. A lesson learnt, what your doing

Anyway, after apologies all round, i paid for the car, left my details and away we went. Mom driving the 740 turbo, me in the estate

10 mins down the road at a set of traffic lights, and BANG, someone rams ME up the arse. We both get out to asses the damage.

Turns out the tow bar has took the full impact. No damage at all to my estate, and a nice whacking great hole in her bumper it made me feel a bit better anyway.

The rest of the journey home was uneventfull. Im now insured on the 740 turbo and took it out for a blast. VERY impressed. A different car to drive from the estate. The front left shock is a bit creaky over the bumps, and ive got a light on the dash that i dont know what it is, so help please

Only problems are a bit of trim come off the back - I'll need to find a replacement, and a sunroof that opens, but is reluctant to close again.

Anyway, the pics:
[IMG][/IMG]
[b]The Mystery light - the car runs ok with this on, but i want to know what it is, Lamda Light? The car had a new exhaust system from front to back not so long ago

The Bit of Trim off the back - need a replacement

Black bits are just crap off the roads - Paintwork is 100% good

So opinions?

For £500, its a dam good buy imo, just a shame ive gotta pay a bit more for an S40 bumper but still, **** happens.

How bloody unlucky is that!?! No-one injured, that's the main thing.

Congrats on the 740 - she looks a gem

thanks

the green light is just to show the lights are on. I was baffled by this as my estate doesnt have one (or one that works!)

So all is fine. The car is quite fast and i doubt it will stay standard for long

The list of bills is quite amazing. Bills for £2k easily in the folder, so its been well looked after previously.

What's the plan of action?

Change cambelt, then tune to the max?

And it was the Green light causing concern to start with?! Well, I guess if you've never had one that worked before, it would!

Default Light

The red light is handbrake either on or failure. The brake fluid/failure light and handbrake light are next to each other, otherwise a nice looking car

Hi,

The Brake warning light is red, has an exclamation mark in a circle ( ! )
The parking brake has a P in it ( P )

If it is the Brake warning then check your brake fluid level, top up.
Bleed if required soon as..

Nice Mota!

Des. . .
