Yeah, getting waaaayyyyyyyy ahead of myself here lol.

I want a reliable 250bhp to start with and then take it from there. so i recon a nice 15g will suffice for now i recon lol

I wouldn't start with a 15g if you have decent power figures like that in mind. For 250bhp you will probably be looking at a 19t.

You could ask Carl, I think he was running roughly 250bhp for a while.

Go Garrett T3... Cosworth. That'll get you to 250. That's where I'm aiming, 250-275 ish.

Cheers guys, this is why i started the thread to find out the best route.

i say 250bhp but i am not fixed on that number, i just want a fast daily with enough power to tow a trailer with my track car on. i recon about the 250 mark is about right as my Old Legacy Gen 1 was Dyno'd at 200bhp and it felt like it was struggling a little.

I'm cheap. I love boosting the hell out of the 13c's. Give it at least 12psi and see what you think.

The 15G or 16 would get you where you want. It is almost a bolt in job with just reclocking to do provided you get teh right flange type.

The garret turbos are much better, if you have all the parts there to fit it then its a no brainer to go garret but withwhat you have stick to the itchy pussy turbos.

If your goals change later on (when you are bored of circa 250BHP) then you can always go down the garret path or even holset

Default 16t

I'd put a 16T on, about 15psi plus other few mods would get you 220bhp. You could put a 19T on, just find one! The 16T has better internals somis a bit more robust than the 15g. A c70 t5 , v70r stuff like that have the 16T, they'll be one for sale somewhere.

Volvo V70's I think. You'll need to reclock the housing on that too, grind off two pins and then file flat the area inside the compressor housing.
