Steering Pulsing at low speed near full lock
Hi everyone,
Noticed something a bit strange this morning a work parking lot. While trying to get car around bend onto ramp to lower floor I could feel pulsing through the steering wheel. No noise, no vibration and not at full lock, but it felt like the power assist steering was having spasms! Something like more assist then less then more ... Even when on brakes and stopped with no hands on steering wheel, you could see steering wheel move a bit. Has anyone had a similar issue or is it normal ? Thanks, Paulo

It's normal - the S/V60 steering geometry means that the front wheels can 'skip' a little when doing slow-speed manoeuvres in car parks.

Yep, mine does it. I think the pulsation can differ in severity depending on tyres. It only happens on the smooth concrete in multi storey carparks for me.

Correct, it's only happening in carparks. Good that it's not a problem Thanks

I found this happening to me, and noticed the tread blocks on the front wheels were individually worn and looked as if they were splitting and cracking. Only 20000 miles and still had at least 3mm. Following suggestions on this forum I changed my front tyres. With Michelin cross climate the ride and traction is improved all round compared to the standard pirelli scorpion Verde.
