D5 (D5244T to 2005) - Shaking engine at 1700rpm

I have an engine shudder at about 1,700rpm on my 2008 D5 (Euro4) D5244T13

It really shakes the car at 47mph but you can feel it at a lot of other speeds. Any ideas what it is anybody?

It makes the whole car shake like a wheel is out of balance but it isnt, as I can get the engine to vibrate without the car moving.

What age/mileage is the car?

It's probably engine mounts. The 4 cylinder engine has a strong vibration at that sort of speed, but healthy engine mounts isolate you from it.

The car is a D5 5 cyl. I tested the engine mounts on the front and they were like new!

I will check the other mounts. But I expect to be disappointed and find that they are fine.
