Finally got a chance to look today. With being away on holiday then catching up at work etc, it's been a busy time!
Anyway, it's still a bit of a mystery to be honest. When I returned to the car today, the clutch pedal was still firmly on the floor. I inspected the master cylinder, pipework, flexi pipe & slave cylinder, no sign of fluid loss from any of them so no hydraulic failure. I then checked nothing was obstructing the slave cylinder / clutch lever (as my reverse intercooler intercooler pipes run very close, but again nothing obvious. I then concluded the issue may be with the clutch pedal mechanism & strangely, when I returned inside the car, the pedal was up again and the clutch was functioning as normal? With no obvious issue I can only assume the clutch lever or slave cylinder was jammed. As the car is currently being stored at my folks, they have limited tools so couldn't carry out a thorough inspection. I'll get the car back home over the next few weeks (currently getting house worked on hence why it's at the folks) & I'll strip the intercooler pipework out the way, this will free up space to observe the operation & inspect all components to sign that the mechanism had been jammed. I'll keep you updated.
