Default Back to volvo after 3 years of vw

Hi everyone,
I've just come back to volvo and bought a V50 2.0 sport d.

There are a few changes I want to make so I'll have some wants and some sales.

First I have bought an r design steering wheel (well you have to really)
So I'll have a standard leather wheel with cruise and radio controls for sale if anyone is interested.

Also it's come with 18" 5 spoke wheels, I think they're called medea?
But I would like to replace them with the medusa type, they're not in good condition at all but if they're worth anything to anyone else or if a swapsie is possible that would be nice.

The v50 has got parking sensors that don't work as well, there is a message on screen that says they need service attention? Anybody point me in the right direction to fix that?

That's about it really, it's got99k on it 2007, black, will replace the grill with a black egg crate too so they'll be a waterfall grill for sale (not that anyone will want it)

Thanks for any replies / help given.

Yeah that might not work!
Any other interest? I actually have to get some replacements first so a parts specialist would be good for a trade. Know of anywhere?

You'd be better off putting your stuff in the for sale section.
As for parking sensors. Got to be a plug into Vida.

Really? That sucks, thought it might be a simple enough fix, replace one sensor or wires hey pulled or something.
Cheers.

There's nothing wrong with checking the connections. The main connection is behind the right hand panel in the boot. If you have a meter you can check for any problems.
Did this message come up when you bought it ?
Can you contact the seller and ask if they know anything about it ?

Nice one, will definitely look at that.
Yes the seller told me about it but hadn't done anything about it (so they said)

I've also discovered that the rear floor is sopping wet behind the drivers side mainly but going into both, seems to go from under the seat cushions all the way down to under the carpet. Brilliant, looking at air con pipe or rear washer feed?

I might have bought a lemon tbh but we'll see!
It was 1800 quid on less than 100k so might be fine...

At that price I would expect it to be not in top condition.
Does it have a sunroof as the drains can get blocked.
Also check door rubbers.
I would get everything checked out before putting any money in new parts.

I know, should be good enough really, no sunroof, dooor seals I will check, can't see how the back seats could be wet from the ac drain really but I'll check while the carpet is up.

AC drain is in gearbox tunnel ,under the carpet, usually a white plastic corrugated tube.
