Default Removal of off side door mirror assembly

Hi new to Volvo and this forum - I've just got myself a 2008 V70 and found out that the offside door mirror will not fold when it should. I've done everything as per the user manual but no luck. The near side is ok. If I help it fold then it might fold. No problems unfolding it with the key fob. Both mirrors can be ajusted from the switch. Obviously needs to be replaced or repaired. Can someone point me to how to remove the mirror assembly and the door panel (for a 2008 V70) so that I can unplug it.
