Default Cambelt / tensioner change ?

I have a V70 2004 D5 (163BHP). I've had it for a couple of years and am very happy with the car so I think I'll bee keeping it for a while (all going well !).

The car has done about 65K. Someone pointed me to this http://www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/index.htm?md=470 which suggests the cambelt and tensioners are due a change to be on the safe side.

Is that the feeling amongst those who know about D5's ?. Are there any more "should do's " ?

I've done a search and have seen a few early failures but it's difficult to know if these were rare exceptions or not.

Finally is there somewhere on the www I can view all of the service tasks due at the various intervals ?

Many thanks

Ian

cambeltand auxilary belt interval is 96000 miles or 10 years which works well , tensioner problems started in 2005-6 where volvo sell a kit of belt and both tensioner rollers , also the auxilary belt and both rollers for that .
Previous models ( to 2005 ) never really had a problem although one or two unlucky ones on here would not agree . There have Never been problems with waterpumps ..
you can get the official volvo service sheet from your dealer ... 97001331 i believe .
no harm in changing your belts and tensioners early though ... or even just checking the rollers are free and smooth with minimal play , there should be a detectable amount of play as a measure of self alignment ..
