Question Volvo S40 1.6 Diesel mystery leak?

Hello, new Volvo owner here!

I've just purchased a 2012 S40 1.6 diesel with very low miles around 24k.
Everything seems to work fine, the engine bay looked nice and clean when looking around it with no signs of any leaks.
However, getting the car home I noticed a drip coming from towards the rear of the front sub-frame.
It looks like water, clear liquid with any drops on the tarmac evaporating fairly quickly.
The odd thing is, the drip/leak seems to start after going from the extreme locks of the steering...
I would've through powersteering fluid would look completely different from water so I'm a bit stumped about where/what is dripping, and why it seems to be linked to the steering...

I've had a quick google and look through the forum but not found anything similar!

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Default Thoughts

I assume it's probably something simple like the A/C condensation draining, but it just seemed like a lot of water for that...
