Unhappy Keyed cars and vandalism.

I'm speechless, it makes my blood boil when I see senseless vandalism of this kind. Even if you do report it nothing ever seems to be done about it. I had a door mirror wrenched off and a smashed n/s door glass in a public car-park and was told sympatheticaly by the authorities "well you were asking for it by parking there" WHAT!!!!
I dunno what this country is coming to.

Sorry to hear you have been hit too.

they seem to like that midnight blue, and they also go for fiats aswell!

but it wasn't keyed it was jumped on.

I think its about time the massive insurance premiums we pay (I am 19 and am paying just shy of a £1k for a stinking 1.2punto, been driving near 2years now aswell) especially the fully comp (Which I am paying for this year) should cover keying and vanalism, as the police even if they catch them often can prosecute but not extract the value from them, so you still end up with (in your case) thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Chips away or similar companies could make an effort, but if you are looking for it you would find it.
Hope you get something sorted

Insurance does cover malicious damage if you're fully comp, but you need to stump up your excess and you lose your no-claims bonus as well.

I've had a quote from a local SMART repair fella for £60 per panel +VAT for respraying.

I suppose whil he's out, he can touch up the stone chips and any other marks on it (not that there's many )

Is that the multistorey near the railway / bus stations, the one by the new cinema or the one by the Festival theatre? Given the choice, I only use the one by the theatre as it's ok there. The other two don't have a good reputation....

Unbelievable, it also happened to my knackered 740TD in a national trust car park hidden away in the rural sussex village where I live; there seem to be sick turdheads everywhere and I don`t think it`s confined to `chavs`.
