Favourite CURRENT has to be the V90 and especially with a tan / brown leather interior and panoramic roof. Gorgeous!!

Favourite PAST is more difficult.

I'm biased on recent models to the pre-facelift C30 as mine has got under my skin, but I've a long-held love of large Volvo estates and so a V70 would feature.

Top of my absolute favourites would be a 265 GLE Estate or a 240 GLT Estate.

From a nostalgic perspective, I hold a huge soft spot for the 360 GLT. My parents bought one from new and I drove theirs many times during the late 80's.

Currently the V90, love the looks and style, incredibly comfortable and so many toys!! Just went a bit mad on the extras.
Previously my s80 executive with the fridge loved that car.

The current XC90 T8. Quick, very economical, huge interiors, supremely comfortable, and my God is it clever - my gen 1 XC90 has the button to flip the lights from from RH to LH, whereas the new one senses you've moved into a LHD country and switches them over automatically. Stuff like that is just amazing.

Fast forward to 2020 I find myself looking at the V90s ... I know they are a bit of a "Big Bus" but I can't stop myself admiring these from a distance. Are these still available with a 5 cylinder engine (Petrol or Diesel) ?

They never did have the 5cyl engine (sadly!). Just the 4cyl 2 litre VEA engine petrol and diesel in various states of tune. Hybrids also available.

How do you find the Cayenne? I really didn't like this type of car when they were new but now they are just another used car, albeit with potentially ruinous maintenance and repair bills, they are somewhat attractive!!
