It's what I did. And it passed the MOT like that too. I'm sure they'll give up eventually, but they're horrendously expensive to buy. Good to know they can be swapped out with the tool though. I considered that, but I've never done one, so I bottled and took the "cheap fix" route first to see what happens. And it was a success. So it's an option at least.
There lots of knocking on the rough lane to my house!
To be fair I think the front anti roll bar bush being, well gone, it most of the problem.
I have to find out if I can get a new bush or if the front is bonded on like the back.

Apparently we can do wish bone bushes aswell with this tool. Very useful combined with the impact wrench.
Hope this helps.

I pushed off the metal circlip while holding the inside of the link with a skinny adjustable that I use for fire extinguisher hoses. It's the correct thickness but not being used to this sort of work if you allow the wrench to slip slightly, as I did, the metal circlip pops off and there is no way to put it back without a special tool. Result is the rubber sleeve will no longer keep out water....
The original design is far superior imho and I will definitely go for that style when I replace these again.

I'm looking at the set of pullers you linked to, were they the correct fit and easy to use?

Yes. There are different sizes . You can choose according to the exact size. My even worse by bolt head broken when removing. All the best.

No. The tool you linked to is a set of ball joint tools not a bushing driving set.
