Default Rear ABS sensor/reluctor ring [AWD]

Hi, I'm in the process of refurbishing/replacing various ABS components on my V70R AWD 1999 model. It's been going ok until I got to the rear sensor/reluctor rings - and getting replacements.

Generally, this car can be troublesome getting the correct parts for, various independents' lookups often, and sometimes Vadis, return incorrect parts numbers, so ultimately the only way to get the correct part is referencing the actual part taken off the car. Which is what I've had to do in this case, none of the part numbers returned from anywhere so far appear to be the part actually fitted to my car. I've attached a photo of one of the rings question, with details - just note the measurements are taken with a ruler, not caliper, so could be very slightly out.

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vCC...ew?usp=sharing

Can anyone suggest where/how I can obtain the correct part. It can't be that unique that it's not sitting in a parts bin somewhere. I'm thinking I might have to go back to my Volvo dealership's parts dept. for them to refer back to head office in Sweden??

Any helpful thoughts out there?
Cheers
Russ

Try these people, I used them a year or so back.

Other than that, it may be main dealer time.

Thanks for the suggestion. Have tried them today but with no success, and the same story with the main dealer.

I'm still trying...

Hi CrimsonPine

These people
http://www.reluctorrings.com/
say
"If your vehicle is not listed on our site, please contact us, and if you’re the first person to request one, we’ll develop the ring and send you one for free"

Hope that helps,
Steve

Or if you can get the exact internal and external measurements you might be able to google an off the shelf alternative.

Thanks a lot for that Steve - I've not come across them before so it's definitely worth trying. I've just had a quick look on their website and the part/size isn't listed - so they might just take up the challenge. Let's hope so.

Just an update on this, for future reference for anyone else that may encounter similar issues.

Huge thanks to member SteveSarre for pointing me in the direction of reluctorrings.com. A really helpful chap there called Gavin ended up making a couple of new rings for me - he'd not come across the spec before at all, and his quote was 'you've got some really weird driveshafts on that car'. Let's hope they don't need replacing anytime soon.

Anyway, I have the new rings now, and Gavin has the spec and my old ring for reference should anyone else need them.

I haven't fitted them yet, I've got that and a few other ABS-related things to deal with when it's not so blisteringly hot on my drive. And I'll report back when I have.

Cheers
Russ
