I see you’ve gone for Tesco but just for other’s benefit, I found Esure fine and their renewals were always very competitive until this year. I had to make a claim last year (vandalism) and getting the car repaired was a very quick process, the only thing is you have to pay an extra excess to choose your own repairer. Most insurers have terrible reviews so pretty much all are a gamble

I'm in the same position. Identical prices with esure and sheilas wheels. I'll be going with sheilas wheels due to the better cashback offer via quidco. should take the price down to under £200 which i'm more than happy with

Oddly enough I was with Tesco Bank last year[for the V70]and when the renewal came and I decided to shop around their quote turned out to be £98 dearer than E-Sure for the same cover, when I contacted Tesco bank to tell them I wasn't renewing with them they "looked" and found they could reduce their renewal price by £48 which still made them £50 dearer than E-Sure.Tesco Bank aren't ime the only insurers who will suddenly find a reduced renewal price when you tell them you're switching companies.

I've just renewed with Adrian Flux and they managed to beat new customer quotes from elsewhere.
Volvo insurance on the other hand [also underwritten with Highways Insurance as AF is] was £200 more expensive.
