Default B230f

Hi all,

Just sticking this on here whether anyone close to Bournemouth/Ringwood/Southampton area has an LH-Jetronic B230F going, or a 940 they're breaking in good condition... Without gearbox as I'll be putting it with my M47 in my 240. Preferably a working engine.. With all the ancillaries (MAF, wiring harness and so forth).

Tim

Bump, I'm sure someone would have a 2.3 940 being broken..

You dont need all the bolt on's. If from a 940 they will be wrong anyway. All you really need is a short block as you could even fit your B200 head.

I do have a good B230F with head in good order. Shipping would only be £45 on a pallet

Wouldn't say I need the bolt ons, I'll be keeping my airbox and just attaching it there. Is your B230 with LH 2.4? I'm trying to move away from dreaded K-jet.. Wouldn't say I'd want to change my head, just an in/out swap.

I will be putting the V cam from my B200E in it though rather than the 230's M cam. Ideally I'm trying to find a 940 I can just take the engine from and the LH system and bolt my M47 to.

Depends on how far you are.. Looking for something local so I don't have to pay for postage really, just put it in the back of a van. Plus, Shortblock? Please elaborate?

Short block = engine without head, starter, alternator etc etc.
I can do you a complete 2.3l LPT engine from a 940 with the LH 2.4, but you would have to come up to GL54 2LH to get it - that's ~ half way between Oxford & Cheltenham.
If you are interested PM me or email on andrew@fleming4clocks.co.uk

Would it come with the gearbox, or? I've changed plans following confirmation of my insurance that I can fit an LPT engine, so the M90 may be in order. Ideally I'm looking for a whole car to cannibalise and break, but it depends on your price and whether the engine is in good cond.
