2001 S40 clicking relay sound also fan control problems

Hi ive just bought a very tidy S40 1.8 but have discovered a couple of ( hopefully minor) problems. First on is a fast clicking sound from somewhere behind the instrument cluster, it sounds like a relay when a bulb is out on the indicators ? It actually stops if the indicators are activated? And when the car is mobile. Also the heater fan sort of pulses on pretty much any of the fan speeds, all of yhe speeds seem to work but they pulse on and off, really odd. Anyway, I'd be grateful of anyones superior product knowledge, TIA

Seat belt reminder !
There should also be a red light above the mirror that flashes in time to the clicking,.. should go off when you put the seat belt on !

Mmm, well, it is the same sound and speed as the seat belt reminder, but continues after the belt is fastened, the seat belt warning light goes off as it should tho also stops when I apply the indicators, maybe it's a sensor problem, either way it's not the end of the world, thank you for the input tho
