Default 2.4D MAF sensor code ECM-P010117

Hi all,

Got the following code from my MAF sensor, I've tried clearing it and it comes back within about 50 miles or so. The car doesn't feel as powerful as I imagine a 2.4D should either.

It doesn't seem to be reading ludicrously high values. (13g/s when the engine is off) but the error code states Circuit Voltage Above Threshold

What's my best next step for getting it sorted? Is it worth disassembling to see if there's any gunge stuck in it?

I think it may have been related to the EGR. I replaced the MAF and a few weeks later started getting a fault code related to the EGR.

It turns out the black sensor box at the front of the EGR just needed a clean. The error I was getting was something along the lines of 'implausible signal'
