940 diagnostic reader diagram
Hi all, I'm looking to build a diagnostic reader for the 940 (1997 LPT), gpl1968 has listed the parts in https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=102112 but there's no sign of the wiring diagram. Had a good look round but because they're all old posts the image hosting appears to have expired. Is the diagram buried somewhere? Can anyone help?

Sorry, the original was deleted in the great Photobucket purge.....
I have uploaded another copy to this forum so hopefully it won't disappear again. That said, I am happy for anyone to save a copy and distribute as they see fit. Cheers

This is my take on it. By using an off-the-shelf OBD breakout box in place of the rotary switch I greatly reduced the amount of soldering needed. Otherwise, just the same as above.

Nice to see this subject is alive! And that people are getting code readers at a sensible price. Some time ago (a year or more), I bought the bits, mounted everything, then couldn't find my soldering iron. It's still in the shed- but I'm seeing someone with an iron soon! But. I have an idea that the electric seat has a pin, (a diagnostic output like the others). I can't find the diagram that made me think this ...

I still have a couple of units built-up if anyone is looking for one; they're based on GPL1968's diagram.

Where did you get the neat break-out box?
