Default Hybrid System Failure XC90 T8

Ouch-had this come on over the weekend. Has anyone else shared the same fate? The car is 6 months old.

No, not seen this. Will the car start?

Please keep us updated - it will be particularly interesting to hear if it's a battery failure - £20,000 for a new one I understand!

Will do. The warning re-appearing again however I clicked it away and drove >100 miles that weekend with no issues. Taking the car to the local dealer in Winchester next week for them to run an anlaysis. Will let you know.

You T8 owners seem to be having your fair share of problems. No good for towing, preconditioning not working etc..

A software update has fixed the error message I received for the Hydrid failure. I also tried the climate preconditioning via the app (ahead of the cold spell coming) and this worked so all good :-)

Glad to hear you're up and running. Did you have to re-enter all your settings after the software update?

All the settings saved however I had to reenable all the data privacy settings as the default due to incoming European Privacy laws (!!) is for no sharing of data. You'll need to re-tick if you want to use the VOC app.

Just had the error on my two day old XC60 T8. VoC say that it is safe to continue driving but that I should have it checked out by a garage - there is no discernible difference in performance, just a warning.
