Default Bluetooth Aux input - V50

Everything you need to get a Bluetooth Aux input in your V50.

This setup was fitted in my 04 V50 T5 and worked really well for about 3 weeks when the car was written off (just my luck)

It was bought as a kit including a VEBA FM injector, this is different from the usual FM units in that it 'injects' the signal straight into the circuit rather than transmitting an FM signal. This method provides a much better signal and it's nice and clear.

The other part is a Connects2U Bluetooth receiver, pair your phone and it sends the signal to the FM injector and into the car stereo.

£70 for everything sent by registered post.

do you still have to tune into a radio station to listen to your bluetooth streamed audio or will this give the option when cycling through aux/cd etc

It gives you the option of 2 FM channels to tune your radio to and because it's injected directly into the system it's a much stronger and clearer signal which cuts out the signal coming in from the aerial.

This is still available so I'll give it one last chance on here at £60 then it's going on Ebay.

Is this still available?

I've got a question about it too, where does that VEBA unit actually go, and can you route an AUX from it to the front of the car?

Sorry to bump such an old thread, not got pm privileges yet

I presume this is now sold as it was a few years ago now.

I wondered if you could advise me where you placed it and where you got power from for it? I presume you found a switched live to use for it?

I'm in York too, on the off chance you do still have it!
