Default 850 indictor stalk replacement - which tool to remove the pl

I hope that makes sense.
I need to use a long "something" to undo the 2 recessed screws in order to get the plastic covers off the steering column. Under no circumstances am I allowed to break the covers off. No no NO !

what do I need ? 3.5mm allen key ? something else ?

The screw heads will most likely be a Torx recess. You can buy a set of various size screw drivers - to suit - from the likes of Toolstation quite cheaply. Good enough quality and always handy to have on the shelf. Failing Torx they will be Phillips or Pozidrive.

On mine they're Torx screws. I bought a set of these from ebay a few years back, long side to reach into deep holes, short side for stubborn screws with a bit of leverage from the long arm. Can't guarantee them to professional usage levels but they're OK for me so far.

three small ones 4ins, 2 @ 6ins, big one 8ins, that's the length of the steel shaft not including the plastic handle.
