Breaking 1995 940 estate
Breaking a 1995 940 estate in metallic red starting Thursday 16th January.
Car is completely rotten underneath after sitting under a tree for three years, all brakes are seized and runs on 3 sometimes 2 cylinders. Doesn't have air con or anything fancy, manual everything apart from gearbox! Engine, wiring loom, ECU's unavailable. Parts can be posted or collected from Worcester or Cirencester. 2020-01-11_08-42-29 by Luke Ryland - Flickr2BBcode LITE 2020-01-11_08-42-07 by Luke Ryland - Flickr2BBcode LITE 2020-01-11_08-41-52 by Luke Ryland - Flickr2BBcode LITE |

Dibs on the light units please.
Hello Luke,
I would like all the light units please. Front and rear. Will PM you. PS: and the rear seat belt buckles if the buttons are the older style with squarish corners.

Are the calipers totally seized, or might they release with some persuasion?
If the latter then I could be interested, depending on which county the car's in.

Thanks - they're a bit far from me but I may have to bite the bullet and sort out a courier. I'll see if my own calipers are cream-crackered first.

Hi Luke,
Good evening. I am looking for a front driver's side weather seal which goes round the frame of the car itself and not on the door. Thanks a lot, Chris |

Hi all unfortunately the defender I have been working on has a lot of rot in the chassis so I will be spending tomorrow welding that up instead of breaking this 940 sorry. I will update as to when the new breaking date is when I know as I need 2 days straight on it to get everything off.
Hiya Chris, I will let you know what the condition is like when I can get them off but yes I do have all 4 door seals. |
