Seems to be a bit of an issue with the link as it only supports Sensus maps (takes you back the the old maps pages for Map Care) or iGO which is Sensus Connected Touch.

Doesn't appear to be anything for Sensus Connect - but maybe the fact that this page is there indicates that something is happening.

Edit - the first picture is for Sensus, it is missing the Internet symbol making it Sensus Connect which should be where the black space is

Seems to be OK now. Just been on the page and the first link photo is sensus navigation and it has an internet browser symbol which is the new layout from My14.5

Agreed, must have been a strange glitch earlier as it was only showing RTI and iGO

I assume that if we have NAV on a MY14.5 then we can download this can we? Does it just update maps to the latest version to include new roads etc etc? My NAV took me on a never ending circular route the other day but as I drove off it then found the destination. Maybe it will iron this sort of stuff out although the street I was looking for was not new so don't know why it did this.

Has anyone done it yet?

ADDED - just downloaded the Europe map update (.exe file) and it's only 2GB. Volvo states it can take up to to 2.5 hrs to transfer from a memory stick which seems excessive for a 2BG file - maybe that's the case if you download all of the World updates!!

The exe file runs the download routine on your local machine which pulls the main file that seems to be around 18gb.

Looking on the map site I searched for "Sensus Connect" and a few more apps popped up, Storytel, Pandora, Stitcher, Park and Pay, Glympse and Rdio but all say 'All car models of model year 2015 equipped with Sensus Connect' do we think access to these will come to the 14.5 models with Sensus Connect as a Software Update??

But it also states that all these apps are for MY14 from week 46 elsewhere.

Consistent messaging within Volvo specification or advertising doesn't seem to be a strong point

Maybe the MY15 already have the latest map update which is why it only appears to be for the MY14.5.

The narrative in the wimorrison's previous link appears to alluded to the fact that the update for MY14.5 will get the same features/functionality as the MY15 (which also includes option for wifi connection).

So lets hope that the dealer update for May puts all MY14.5 in the same place (in respect of functionality) as MY15. If it's all the same hardware I can't see why a software update won't make this possible.

The article also states the wifi option will be there for 'better connectivity' - I go along with this as the bluetooth is a bit flaky when being used for multiple applications - Keep my fingers crossed that we all get it.

Says model year 14 week 46. So as I had mine in July I'm assuming I have to use DVDs still.

Sometimes doesn't pay to be early adopter. Also note it says windows download..what about us who use Apple iMac ??
