None taken.
Just wanted to add the R Design look as it's better than the SE body style that I currently have and it's nothing i've not done before |

Thanks Arianne.
Went to collect the parts from the body shop, but they're not ready, so you'll have to wait until next weekend for more pics |

Well it's only taken until now to get the parts back repaired and painted, but I should count myself lucky as they fitted it in-between jobs and only charged me £300 which included repairing the bumper on my old car to make it saleable after the wife reversed into a wall
So, following my bumper removal thread http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=227061 Here's the story so far. One 2011 V60 SE One SE bumper removed. One R-Design front bumper painted to match the car. Plus £150 worth of lower grilles and the original top grille from the SE bumper fitted. One R-Design lookie likie. Gonna set to with doing the rear tomorrow |

Looking forward to this, I've got to take the rear off mine to fit a tow bar next week, I've got the instructions but it will be nice to see some pics of the bumper removal [/HINT]
Really like the transformation of changing the front bumper

Gonna disappoint you though as I managed to remove the trim with the bumper still on the car. It's all in bits at the moment, but I'll update later when it's done. |

Bugger, stopped in my tracks by the R-Design rear valance not fitting the SE bumper. I thought I had checked that the part numbers of both bumpers were the same. I'll check again as I may need to order an R-Design rear bumper and change the lot
Well at least I found out how to remove the ball section of my tow bar Again for reference, here's the SE rear end. 15mins to remove the rear bumper trim/valance. SE & R-Design rear valance/bumper trim. NOT the same fitting |

UPDATE!
They are the same fitting, but I've been sold the wrong one 2011-2014 V60 R Design rear diffuser is p/n 31339163 with rear parking sensors or 31339175 without PDC. I've been sold 31347159. Any idea what it's for? It would be easier to sell on and cut my loss rather than try to return it. Last edited by muffking; Apr 5th, 2015 at 16:15. |
