I think Adaptive headlamps are only available on Inscription Pro models.
It's front fog lights that T8s don't have.

the adaptive high beam function is really crap at junctions at detecting cars coming from the side. Several times this last 2 weeks I've had to manually turn them off to not blind people passing as I wait to pull out.
That said I have the adaptive speed setting to fast and its awesome overall. That said I can only imagine how sweet it must be to drive with full beam on all the time and not be dazzling others etc Never had such amazing headlights. Makes me want to test out BMW "freekin Laser beams" headlights |

Just been trying this out for first time, I have setting at normal. I didn’t get flashed but I thought oncoming cars were slowing down as I got closer. I am going to change to fast but has anyone else noticed this or have set them to fast ?

Mine are on Normal setting and I've never been flashed nor noticed any adverse reaction to them over 20 months.

Mine are also on "normal", and I have been flashed more than once, but mostly on inclined roads.
It seems like the system doesn't detect the incoming lights on time due to the angle. |

Good, but far from perfect
I see lots of praise in this thread for the AST lights, but not so many comments on its problems. Namely:
1) The do not illuminate as deep as good xenons do. (I compare with my previous 10-y old Touran with bi-xenon, whose lights reached definitely farther). 2) They give up very early when there is some road illumination, or simply many cars around. They switch to low-beam and that's all. Only work in very dark roads. 3) You can see "dancing shadows" whenever the lights change the field of illumination. This is quite disturbing for me. I was very excited about this technoliogy when I ordered my car, but at the end of the day I got a bit disappointed. It's not bad, but in no way the propaganda videos reflect the real thing. |

I think you will get used to the shadows eventually. The active bending lights on my car were a bit disturbing at first, but now OK. Take care, Paulo
