360dood has just taken on an S60 (Cat C) machine. Cause of damage is hailstones - in the UK?? I have told him to describe the dings as an anti-radar finish!

Power steering return pipe burst but now repaired. NSF bearing failing but currently a hub replacement is in progress. Couple of other bits to be done also but he reckons that it will be street legal for this show - yes, VIC included.

If that repair is done in time I intend to be there as well (with Mrs Mig) and make it a Royal occasion.

this is on my list, especially since the weather this weekend sounds set fair. The Rescue Dog should make Wolverhampton and back!

360dood has had his S60 made righteous and starts his trip down tomorrow. He has places to visit en route. Hailstone dings will be shown to Demon Dents for comments.

The Royal is also now fully righteous and lacks only a wash and polish - guess that's my Saturday used up then.

Better get the route and timings worked out then.

Managed to change the alternator earlier, hope this cures the problem! If it does, i'll be coming in the 240!
