I suspect but can not confirm that perhaps short GAZ dampers were used with 40mm lowering springs where they would need to be full length. Otherwise could simply be the dampening adjuster were just not set in the right kind of area
Yes, the dampers were very short.....something was definitely amiss with the kit. i can't say a bad word about the BC kit, if anything the back end is not stiff enough although i have not played around with the settings much. they are great on road, yet to test properly on a drift day.....

Thanks laird. So essentially i can fit 7 series uprated shocks and spring providing I get the right ones cos I can’t find much for the 940.

In theory, yes but bear in mind the differences i've already mentioned and also there may be a few others i'm not aware of.

I'm guessing yours is a 940? What year and model is it?
