Vibration through rev ranges
Hi people. This just started this past week, car seems ok on tick over but when accelerating steady or full on about 1800 revs up, there seems to be a vibration coming from engine, there’s no smoke at the back no loss of power still goes like stink. so don’t think it’s injectors, I suspect it’s the DMF that’s starting to fail. It does have 173k miles on. There’s no faults on Vida for fuel/injectors. Any help appreciated.

Sorry for not getting back, been busy with wife’s Volvo. Just to update symptoms, there’s no clunk when engaging hear or anything like that, it feels like misfire when getting up to 1800 revs, can a failing DMF cause this? As the engine doesn’t have a crank damper fitted at pulley end I assume this is also to take out the vibration from the engine?? Any way clutch pedal on the floor, won’t pressure bleed either way vacuum or pressure or both. So going to garage for them boys to diagnose. Will keep ya informed of what happening.

Vida not showing any codes, I’ve got no smoke than normal from exhaust, it’s not using oil/coolant and there’s no oil in coolant or vice versa and my MPG has gone up!! How would you diagnose this??? Any help appreciated.
Oh and clutch issue was clutch master cylinder. |

Just put my snap on blue point code reader in, no active or pending codes.
Looked at fuel rail pressure and it read 29000-30000 kpa for fuel rail pressure on tick over, this equates to 290-300 bar, is this about right? Revved it to approx 2000 rpm, pressure went up to 50000 kpa. Don’t know if this right as nothing to compare to. |

According to Vida, it’s should be approximately 280,000hpa, but mine at 250,000 approximately.
