So you're saying all dynos read the same.

That all cars behave the same on dynos.

That all dynos put the same load on the car.

All dynos read different.

Some cars behave diferently under differing thermal conditions.

Some dynos put different loads on the cars under test

Like I said, a HUGE difference in maps was experienced when load was applied from a different starting point.

The only real way to make a choice it to A/B test 2 maps on your car drive it as you want and decide based on personal prefernce.

I know that Don (Kalmar Union) lets people "borrow" an MTE map for a week or so, I don't know if Rica UK (Adam) will offer the same service.

all true but they are still useful. if one overreads and, for example, reads 250bhp for my car standard(2.4t 200hp) but then 310 after a remap we can be quite sure there has been a significant increase. we can also see where that increase is.

dynos don't really fluctuate that much i would say its only about 10% in it either way tops.

LOL You cant keep blaming the dyno because a 850 with a 15g produced more power then your hybrid turbo.
