Default Volvo Assistance question

Hi all

New V90 owner and first time poster here. Liking the car so far; a bit different from the Skodas I’ve had over the past 15 years lol.

Can anyone advise on breakdown cover for new Volvos? It’s on a finance deal through Volvo and Customer Services tell me that Volvo Assistance is only for one year and that I need to speak to the supplying dealer. I thought all manufacturers provided 3 years UK and EU breakdown. Well, at least Skoda did.

Can anyone shed any light on this before I contact the dealer next week?

Many thanks.

Volvo assistance is valid one year from the main dealer service, so provided you service the car every year with a main dealer, you should get a renewal each year.

Yeah, talk to your dealer. They should confirm that Assistance is renewed at service time if you service with a Volvo dealer.

It's 3 years from new then renews at every service.
