Default ABS Teves or Bosch, how to tell difference?

I read somewhere that the V50 was fitted first with Teves abs pumps and later Bosch because the Teves were having problems. I could have read it here or elsewhere, I can't find it again. I was wondering how you can tell the difference between Teves and Bosch, I figure it would be written on them somewhere but just looking at my V40s abs I can't see any writing anywhere on the pump but I have no idea what sort it is either, though I'm more concerned about knowing the difference concerning a V50. I looked at one and the abs warning light was flicking on and off.

ABS is not a problem at all on any Volvo model.

When you start the car, the ABS light will come on and go out after a few seconds, that's normal.

If the light comes on whilst driving, it's likely there is a sensor or wheel bearing issue, but again this isn't common and it's never the pump.

You shouldn't be put off a car by what ABS pump it has.
