1984 Volvo 360 GLS
1985 (B) model 1st reg on 10.01.85. Although i'm 6th owner (2005) this car stayed in the same family until 2000. Good history including ORIGINAL bill of sale from Sandhurst, Surrey. Mileage approx 95,600 (milometer stuck at 94,500)
Original fitted Glt boot spoiler & I have fitted 1985 pattern glt 14in alloys (2006) & glt style Monroe gastec rear shocks (2008). Alternator replaced (2006) new rear brake shoes/brake fluid & rad drain/antifreeze renewal (2008) MOTed in Feb 2009 (sailed through)though rear silencer box will need replacing for next mot. Broquet fuel catayst fitted in petrol tank £75) in 2006 gives excellent emissions, better economy & performance. Although not mint condition i have lovingly maintained her, interior is spotless bar slightly split parcel shelt (still works though). Every thing works bar milometer & cassette player on original JVC RADIO. Exterior wise the special order (1st owner had to order colour) Arctic blue met is very good bar odd stratches & touch-ups to area below windscreen & doors. The poorly designed front valance has been repaired, undersealed/overpainted in black enamal & is structurally sound but ideally i would bebuild at some stage. Sills & rear suspension mounts have been professionally welded/undersealed & the underside/chassis has been waxoyled. The B200K redblock runs like a dream, gearbox/clutch are fine & rear shocks/alloys improve handling. Cambelt was replaced in 99 at 80114 but mileage is so low. Kept under car cover on my drive & regularly cleaned but am so busy (new baby) that the old girl hardly ever goes out though do attend local Stokes Bay Classic car rally. Needs a caring good home £695 or reasonable offer. Well worth a good look & drive. 02392528948 ask for Neil. Can email more pictures if required. |

Hi Neil, is the car still for sale? If so would you take £300 cash?

bye bye Volvo
Thanks me too. I'll miss the old lady but the lad who has her (his dad bought it for him) is a keen 360 enthusiast & wants to keep it looking good & use as his daily drive once he passes his test.

Ha ha, well done mate.
Brought another youngster into the world of volvo 300 stewardship. looks like he'll keep it well too. Not just thrash it. Like so many do. Good news all round. |
