I mean you're pushing 450nm...

As has been stated, I`m currently running forged internals BUT, I reliably ran around 440-450Nm on the standard engine (with 19T) for over a year so all I can say is its down to th way the car is tuned and just as important is the maintenance. Joules` car is running close to or over 500Nm on a standard engine too so it is possible. IMO, its all about how the car is mapped (driveability with an MTE is superb as its very progressive) plus you need the hardware to be able to make good, sustained power, whilst maintaining a safe AFR.

Yes, that was a good fun day out. What I hadn`t realised is from messing about with the car the during the week before, the ECU had logged a DTC which was making the car run rich, thereby killing power. When I "read" and cleared the ECU after the run with the EVO, there was a noticeable difference and the car accelerated much harder at higher revs.

At the last Marham meet, Smartbomb drove the car and had a run in with a highly modified EVO 6/7 and left it too and the rest of the day was spent getting really dirty looks from the driver......it was so funny! I can`t wait for the next Marham meet!!

You mean you let other people drive it!!
I don't even let my wife drive my stock S40! (she's quite petite - would have issues reaching the pedals)

TBH, I've generally not minded people driving it. Many will confirm this at Crooked Billet meets. I personally feel that the best way for someone to get to know how the car drives is for them to try it themselves. However, with the current and very clear insurance restrictions placed on the car I guess that may have to change. The car is now capable of 135mph in 3rd gear, 165+mph in 4th and God alone knows what in 5th - so it needs to be respected and driven accordingly.

For some reason I don't think the forum are posting my replies, could be that I'm new here, anyway you sent me a message replying to my request for S60r front bumper. Can you reply to me on 07976 437908 chris.

I am interested, just need to see couple of pics and what your after for it. My car is Silver, but that shouldn't be too much of a consideration as I know someone who can respray it.
