On a motorway run, I can average 47mpg at 60 mph. Drops to about 40-42mpg at 70.

Around town, between 33 and 40.

2002 S40 1.8 GDI.

reading some of the XC60 posts about cruise control and they reckon it uses more fuel than not using it. In my opinion i seem to get better MPG using CC. can anyone confirm if its more economical using CC? are there any tests been done to compare the differances? would be nice to know so i can save as much as poss.
