Default Mystery hole ;)

Hi everyone,

Preparing everything for assembly after a valve job, I wonder what's connected to the hole under plastic timing belt cover?

Pics of your motor welcome!

Thanks.

Miguel

My guess; For testing oil pressure during development. Or it's a drilling, to make a channel deeper in the head, plugged afterwards.

Most of the cars I have owned have had lifting eyes bolted to the exhaust or inlet manifold on the head. And some of those are ally heads.
