Question Dashcam

Just bought a Nextbase 212 Dashcam. Has anyone had a problem with fitting a Dashcam? They normally fit behind the mirror but this isn't possible with Volvos. Where does anyone put theirs? (Assuming that they have one of course).

Mine is to the left of the mirror.

Recommend that you pop to halfords and buy some ticky tab cable clips and hook the bulky bit of the cable plug around it.

As T5R92011, left side of mirror (412GW in V50) Think almost everyone has fitted them there.
Cable tucks along the roof lining and down the pillar without any clips.

One thing to bear in mine is rather than tuck it behind the a pillar trim, you really need to remove the trim and route the cable so that it doesn't interfere with the inflatable cushion.

Another option may be to splice into the dimming mirror cable.

dont forget in an accident dashcams and satnavs will go flying and quite possibly hit you in the face !

think very carefully about how you secure them
