I can understand the novelty wearing off. The first car I built properly was a mini with a 1380, cage, uprated suspension ete, etc. It was going to be used for hillclimbing but I couldn't afford it at the time. Driving it on the road was hilarious. RS turbos stood no chance, well up to about 90mph anyway but dviving it everyday was a pain because it didn't idle well and the cage and harness made it difficult to get in.

I've got to the point with my 940 where it's time to stop I think. I might change the exhaust, but it will have to be for something quietish. If you drive it around as normal it feels pretty standard only whan you press the throttle a bit harder the turbo starts doing it's job.

Perhaps a slight de-tune and fix all the things that need doing would make it better.

I remember the Bedford CF2 MURVI when it was new. That makes me very old...

You could wedge the metro inside the Bedford, then drive them both over a cliff at the same time, thereby saving a lot of effort..... LOL

There's been a bit of a thread hyjack here, sorry for my part.
Hope you get some interest in what is a pretty well sorted car, not many cars have the extensive build history your does either.

Thats ok Steve.

To be honest I wasn't expecting a great clamoring of people waving wads of cash at me.

I am advertising it in a few places but not many people are going to want to pay £2000 for a shabby looking 240 estate no matter how much has been done to it, perhaps its time for another reshell into something much cleaner.
