avoiding DAB interference from dash-cam?
I'm looking to install a front & rear dash cam in my V40 & to avoid radio interference I'd like keep it away from antenna wiring & DAB amplifier. Does anyone know the wire routing of the radio to DAB amp & antenna in the V40 (2016)?

Front one won’t be an issue it’s the rear that’s the problem. The dab antenna is basically the copper wiring in the rear screen and the dab unit is in the top of the boot.ive never found a way to have a rear camera and dab working.

After a few initial issues, I now have my front & rear NEXTBASE 522gw & rear screen camera working without DAB drop outs. Wiring to avoid the DAB amp in the nearside boot hidden compartment as much as possible. Then placing rear camera on offside rear windscreen, low down, roughly in line with the “O” in VOLVO lettering on tailgate, & within the sweep of the wiper blade . I have run the wire for the rear camera down the nearside front door post rubber to the floor, then between the carpet & plastic door sill trim to the gap between the rear seats & boot space, then across to the offside, thereby avoiding the DAB amp in the nearside. Placing the camera near the bottom of the screen keeps the camera as far away as possible from the shark fin antenna. Also placed a small ferrite bead / core on cable close to the rear camera. Tested this for +1hr & no drop outs, previously it would drop out every few minutes. Fingers crossed that’s it sorted!
