  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default Vinyl dye/paint

Is there sutch a thing? some of my panels are stained end won't clean up. Rather than replace would like to try to refurbish.

OK just found some on ebay Any other sugestions advice?

Yes, there are various. Cheaper stuff tends to peel and look bad. Good quality colouring should be just as good as the original colouring used on leather, if used carefully and as per instructions.

"940 Turbo" on here may be able to recommend; he has done a lovely job on those red leather seats for his 144.

If you look at my thread we painted the black headrests maroon the match the leather seats. The head rests are vinyl. It is worth asking a local automotive paint supplier if they stock vinyl dye. Many do and will mi it up to a colour pattern.
