Genuine Volvo S/V40 Front Strut Brace & 10 disc cd changer

Hi,

Looking like it might be new car time in the next week or so. (Don't worry it'll be another Volvo!)

So i'll have a few bits from my treasured 2001 2.0t for sale. Namely:

1) Genuine Volvo Front strut brace with original brackets to lower your fuse box to avoid any bodging. Paid circa £150 way back iirc! Would accept £100 plus postage.

2) Original Volvo 10cd changer with power cable and mounting bracket. Is in perfect working order. If i remember correctly the signal cable is in the car ready on some models (It was on mine) if you are lucky all you need is the box and power cable and you are good to go. Would accept £50 plus delivery.

Hi,

Regarding the CD Changer, how will it attach to the parcel shelf? Are all of the fixings etc present? My car looks like it is pre-wired, so will it be a simple plug and play?

Hi,

You can get brackets to mount under the parcel shelf on an s40.. I had some previously but sold them.. This one has a bracket attached in the pics for mounting to the boot floor on the left hand side of the boot. Unsure if that is for s and v40s.. I had this sat in the back of the spare wheel well behind the wheel.. easy to get to and didn't loose any packing space.
