The foam on my car has been saturated as well, I've also had a constant headache since Sunday.

Was the cover expensive?

Thanks for that, I called my local main dealer earlier, it was £93+VAT, I'll have to try and wash it tomorrow and see if it works as that price is too expensive.

I gave the engine cover foam a good wash on Saturday, and so far the diesel smell has been kept at bay, so I'll stick with it until I get another leak.

I have the same engine like yours, 2006, 30K miles. I am having the same issue plus white smoke when your start the engine cold, after it sat there for a while ? The dealer has been going after the injectors (had one replaced) but made no difference..Gasket ok.
