If the actuator is electronic then I'm talking rubbish. Are you sure about that? There is a electrical connector but I think that's a position sensor for the vacuum-operated actuator.

I don't want to mislead anyone!

You're right .. since it has an air hose attached to it coming from the electro-pneumatic boost pressure valve "Prierburg", then it's a pneumatic actuator with a position feedback sensor.

However, some Mondeos I believe have the same turbo fitted but with the electronic actuator .. not the case of the 2.0D
