XC60 D5 2014 jerking when going into Drive

Hi All,

Found a thread I wanted to ask a question on but since registering I can’t find it.

Bought my XC60 D5 from auction at the beginning of Jan. Full Volvo service history etc and clearly been well looked after.

However, come across a jerking motion when putting the car into Drive. It is quite a clunk but that is it. Rest of the gear selection is fine and car drives without any issues other than this jerk/knock.

Another thread with similar problems said it was a software issue. Would this have to be done by Volvo? If so, what should the charges be? First Volvo so no idea of the dealer prices.
