D5 oil leak 215bhp
Please could someone assist with these pictures. I have a slight oil leak, it doesn't drip oil just a small amount on the undertray (none on drive). Could this be rocker cover gasket? seems centrally located on the engine and more towards the rear? Was serviced last July by Volvo so unlikely to be an old leak. Thanks

Places to check would be the oil filter housing, the heated PCV valve is very common for weaping and causes a mess over a long period of time if not cleaned regular. You also do see some slight sweating from the cam cover but not usual enough to cause significant leakage.
Be a good idea to give it all a good clean with brake cleaner then take it for a run and re check.

On second inspection it appears to be pooling more at the top just to the right of the oil filter housing

Looks like the PCV is your issue then. You can remove and re seal that valve fairly easily. There is a video on YouTube by Volvo Sweden who show you the process
